Descrizione: W.H. Suringar (1805-1895), a Dutch philologist, offers an autobiography of Cicero (pp. 3-312), based exclusively on passages taken from all the works of the Arpinate. The passages are referenced. They may be linked, at times, by welding conjunctions that are the work of Suringar. This construction of a text from quotations creates an interesting autobiographical narrative, but it is made up of unrelated pieces, each with a different date.
