Description: Il contributo passa in disamina l'evoluzione negli anni dapprima dell'opera retorica e, in secondo luogo, di quella oratoria di Cicerone. L'autore paragona dunque l'evoluzione della prima, la quale passa dalla brevitas del De inventione attraverso l'elocutio del De oratore per arrivare infine alla via media rappresentata dalle Partitones oratoriae e dai Topica, con quella della seconda, che a sua volta parte dall'asianesimo per giungere poi all'atticismo demostenico. In questo modo, perciò, si esaminano i modi con cui Cicerone mise in pratica nelle orazioni il pensiero teorico espresso nelle opere retoriche. The paper examines the evolution over the years firstly of Cicero's rhetorical production and secondly of his oratorical production. The author thus compares the evolution of the former, which moves from the brevitas of the De inventione through the elocutio of the De oratore to finally arrive at the middle way represented by the Partitones oratoriae and the Topica, with that of the latter, which in turn starts from Asianism and then arrives at Demosthenian atticism.In this way, the paper highlights the ways in which Cicero put into practice in the orations the theoretical thought expressed in his rhetorical works.[Marcello Benazzo, A.S.L. 2022, Liceo Cavour (Torino)]
