J.C., au moment donc où l’orateur entrait en lice pour les élections consulaires, à l’issue desquelles, comme on sait, Cicéron sera élu avec Antonius comme collègue pour l’année 63 (dont les derniers mois verront éclater la conjuration de Catilina).
