Descrizione: [Abstract] Under the influence of Panaetius’ Stoic doctrine, Latin authors understand the Greek adjective καλoς mostly in ethic sense. Cicero employs honestus as an equivalent; καλoς κaγαθoς is rendered with vir bonus by Seneca.
